The Kwara State Government has announced that the monthly Environmental Sanitation exercise for the month of August  will come up on Saturday, August  29th, 2026 across the state between the hours of seven o'clock and ten o'clock (7:00am to 10:00am) in the morning.  This announcement was contained in a statement issued from the Office of the state Commissioner for Environment, Hajia Nafisat Musa Buge. The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) has ranked Kwara State first in Northern Nigeria in the recently concluded Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE) for teachers, with a 93.8 per cent pass rate. The recognition was conveyed in a congratulatory letter addressed to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and signed by the Registrar and Chief Executive of TRCN, Dr (Mrs.) Ronke Soyombo. According to the council, 678 candidates registered for the examination, 616 sat for it, while 578 passed, representing a 93.8 per cent success rate.
