Kwara NUJ celebrates Atere, Adewuyi on successful retirement
The Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has celebrated the distinguished and unblemished careers of Alhaji Abdulganiyu Atere, outgone Director of Information Services in the state Ministry of Communications, and Hajia Muibat Adedayo Adewuyi, who retired as Director of Programmes of Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Kwara). In a statement released by the Council’s Chairman, Abdullateef 'Lanre Ahmed, and Secretary, Mahmood Olayinka Alaya, on Monday, the NUJ hailed the duo of Atere and Adewuyi for their exemplary services and dedication, describing them as pillars of journalism and broadcasting in Kwara State. The statement commended Alhaji Atere, a veteran journalist, and Hajia Adewuyi, an ace broadcaster, for their long-standing commitment to professionalism, having served in various roles with diligence, passion, and an unwavering commitment to the public good. According to the Union, both Atere and Adewuyi have contributed immensely
