KWSG STRATEGIES ON INNOVATIONS FOR IMPLEMENTING NUTRITION PROGRAMMES

The Kwara State Government has strategised on innovative ideas for implementing nutrition programmes across the state, while restating its commitment to cater for the well-being of the citizens. The Acting Chairman, State Committee on Food and Nutrition (SCFN) who doubles as the State Director of Planning, Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Alhaji Sarajudeen  Alimi, stated this recently during the first quarter meeting for the year 2025, held at the conference room of the Ministry of Finance, Ilorin. Kwara Transport, PPA Strengthen Ties on Adequate Execution of Projects

The Kwara State Ministry of Transportation and the State Public Procurement Agency (PPA) have agreed on the need to strengthen collaboration to ensure adequacy and durability of government projects across Ministries, Departments and Agencies, in the State. Kampe National Park: Govt Assures Community of Massive Development

The Kwara State Government has assured Patigi community of massive development  through the KAMPE National Park established in the area, on completion. The Kwara State government has commissioned multi-million Naira projects in the Ilorin South Local Government Area (LGA) of the State, today. The Kwara State Government has restated its commitment to Food and Nutrition programmes in order to reduce malnutrition among children in the state. The  Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Dr. (Mrs.) Mary Ronke Arinde, stated this on Tuesday while meeting with members of the State Committee on Food and Nutrition (SCFN), in her office. KWSG Hosts Stakeholders on Geospatial Mapping of Transhumance Routes

In preparation for the commencement of the geospatial mapping of the transhumance routes exercise in the State, the Kwara State Government has organised a stakeholders' engagement with relevant stakeholders in the livestock sector of the State on Tuesday.
