The Kwara State Government has strategised on innovative ideas for implementing nutrition programmes across the state, while restating its commitment to cater for the well-being of the citizens. The Acting Chairman, State Committee on Food and Nutrition (SCFN) who doubles as the State Director of Planning, Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Alhaji Sarajudeen  Alimi, stated this recently during the first quarter meeting for the year 2025, held at the conference room of the Ministry of Finance, Ilorin. The Kwara State Ministry of Transportation and the State Public Procurement Agency (PPA) have agreed on the need to strengthen collaboration to ensure adequacy and durability of government projects across Ministries, Departments and Agencies, in the State. The Kwara State Government has assured Patigi community of massive development  through the KAMPE National Park established in the area, on completion. The Kwara State government has commissioned multi-million Naira projects in the Ilorin South Local Government Area (LGA) of the State, today. The Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development, Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi Bata who commended the Executive Chairman of the Ilorin South LGA for the projects executed, urged other Councils to emulate him. The Kwara State Government has revealed that it is set to implement the Framework for Responsible and Inclusive Land-Intensive Agricultural Investment (FRILIA) initiative to facilitate fairness in the acquisition of land for agricultural purposes in the State. The Kwara State Government has planned to commence vigorous inspections of all infrastructural projects embarked upon by the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration, as the various projects near completion, reiterating that the State Government still maintains zero tolerance for shoddy project execution. The Kwara State Government has restated its commitment to Food and Nutrition programmes in order to reduce malnutrition among children in the state.
