Kwara Airlifts Final Batch of 140 Pilgrims for Hajj 2025

Last batch of intending pilgrims from Kwara State onboard Max Air this evening at the Tunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin. The final batch of 140 pilgrims from Kwara State, including 24 officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), departed the Tunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, for Saudi Arabia this evening to perform the 2025 Hajj rites. Addressing the pilgrims before departure, the Chairman of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Professor Mashood Mahmud-Jimba, advised them to conduct themselves with decorum throughout the pilgrimage. He warned against smuggling prohibited items into Saudi Arabia. Professor Mahmud-Jimba noted that adequate arrangements had been made to ensure a hitch-free Hajj experience. He urged the pilgrims to avoid strenuous activities in order to prepare physically and mentally for the rigours of the pilgrimage.
