KWASSIP Plans to Partner with SUREMech
In a bid to live up to its agenda of economic inclusion through collaborative partnerships, Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) has planned to partner with SUREMech, a leading automobile repair and maintenance platform, stating that this initiative aligns with the vision of the Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, known for his youth-friendly policies.
The General Manager, KWASSIP, Dr Abdulwasiu Tejidini, said this recently while welcoming the representatives from SUREMech, who paid a courtesy visit to his office.
The General Manager expressed his enthusiasm about the potential partnership, saying, "We are excited about the prospect of collaborating with SUREMech to equip our youths with valuable skills. This partnership has the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of our beneficiaries and contribute to the state's economic development.”
Dr Tejidini pledged his unalloyed support towards the project, adding that his door is always open for structured discussions.
Earlier in his opening speech, the Founder of SUREMech, Engr. Samuel Akhibi, proposed a collaborative effort with KWASSIP to sponsor selected youths for training at SUREMech Academy, explaining that the initiative aims to empower young Nigerians with skills in automobile repair and maintenance, enhancing their employability and economic prospects.
Engr. Akhibi further expressed commitment to supporting youth development and empowering the next generation of automobile professionals, stating, "We believe that this partnership will not only benefit the youths but also contribute to the growth and development of Kwara State."
The proposed partnership aligns with KWASSIP's mission to support vulnerable populations and promote economic inclusion in Kwara State, creating opportunities for youth development and contributing to the state's economic growth.
