KWSG KEYS INTO NUTRITION MARCHING FUND OF UNICEF TO ERADICATE MALNUTRITION IN THE STATE

The Kwara State Government, in its bid to eradicate malnutrition ravaging the lives of the vulnerable groups, especially, children, women and other disadvantaged groups, has keyed into Nutrition Marching Fund, a United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Scheme which will ensure resources are set aside and available to tackle malnutrition menace in the State. FIDA DONATES CASH GIFTS TO PATIENTS AT GENERAL HOSPITAL, ILORIN

The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) has donated cash gift of one hundred thousand naira (₦100,000) each to10 indigent patients at the General Hospital Ilorin.  The donation was intended to support patients who need help in paying their medical bills. Hajia Muinat Adeleye, the Chairperson of the FIDA Week Planning Committee sought the collaboration of stakeholders to facilitate the opening of the Children and Women's Wards within the hospital. The association also extended their support to the hospital by donating bedsheets to both the Male and Female Wards, while also paying the medical expenses of an indigent patient in urgent need of surgery.  Hajia Adeleye acknowledged the hospital management for their outstanding service and humanitarian efforts within and outside the State.   The Kwara State Government has again procured and commenced immediate distribution of transformers in some communities with the aim of boosting the economy at the grassroots.   The Commissioner for Energy, Engr.
