FIDA DONATES CASH GIFTS TO PATIENTS AT GENERAL HOSPITAL, ILORIN

The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) has donated cash gift of one hundred thousand naira (₦100,000) each to10 indigent patients at the General Hospital Ilorin. 

The donation was intended to support patients who need help in paying their medical bills.

Hajia Muinat Adeleye, the Chairperson of the FIDA Week Planning Committee sought the collaboration of stakeholders to facilitate the opening of the Children and Women's Wards within the hospital.

The association also extended their support to the hospital by donating bedsheets to both the Male and Female Wards, while also paying the medical expenses of an indigent patient in urgent need of surgery.

 Hajia Adeleye acknowledged the hospital management for their outstanding service and humanitarian efforts within and outside the State.

In his response, Dr. Ahmed Bola Abdulkadir, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, commended FIDA for their generous donations, emphasizing the significance of their contribution amid the prevailing challenges in the country. 

Dr Abdulkadir who extended his heartfelt prayers for the association,wished them safe return to their respective destinations.
