-Olukoju Visits NSCDC Kwara Command  The Kwara State Government has called for further collaborations between security agencies and government, to ensure effective protection of lives and properties of  Kwara residents, even as the state Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Bola Olukoju paid a courtesy visit to  Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, Kwara Command Office, Ilorin, the State Capital. The Commissioner made this call during the week, when she paid a courtesy visit to Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Commandant Umar Mohammed, in his office. ORO REJOICES AS KWARA GOVT DELIVERS EQUIPMENT TO GENERAL HOSPITAL ORO

General Hospital Oro was among the destinations of the management team of Kwara State Hospitals Management Board on Friday for the ongoing distribution exercise of hospital equipments. The team joined the entourage of the Commissioner and Permanent Secretary (Perm Sec) Ministry of Health at the brief ceremony which was held to deliver medical equipment to the Hospital as approved by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.  In attendance at the ceremony were the hospital CMD, Oro High Chiefs, Oro elders, youth leaders, members of the Oro healthcare committee, hospital staff and other stakeholders.  The people of Oro expressed their appreciation to the governor for upgrading and equipping the hospital so that Oro community and its environs can have easy access to quality healthcare service.

KWSG BEGINS EVACUATION OF BEGGARS AND LUNATICS IN ILORIN METROPOLIS

KWSG PROCURES BROADCAST EQUIPMENTS FOR KWTV

In a bid to enhance the productivity of the Kwara State Television Authority (KWTV), and to ensure the TV station is placed on a standard level of broadcasting, the Kwara State Government has procured new set of back up equipments for the state owned media house. The Honorable Commissioner of Communications, Hon. Bola Olukoju while unveiling the equipments at the broadcasting station this week commended the State Government for its proactiveness and ensuring the state owned media outfits are fully equipped to operate at optimal levels. ANNOUNCEMENT: SANITATION EXERCISE HOLDS ON SATURDAY

This is to inform members of the public that the sanitation exercise for this month will come up on Saturday, 25th November, 2023 starting from seven to nine o'clock in the morning. (7:00 am to 9:00 am). Residents of the State are hereby enjoined to fully participate in the exercise, by cleaning both residential and business environments.   According to the press statement signed by the Press Secretary, Kwara State Ministry of Environment, Yakub Aliagan, members of the public should note as usual that, there shall be no vehicular or human movements across the state within the scheduled two-hour duration of the exercise. Security and Monitoring agents shall be on ground to monitor and ensure compliance across the entire State.  Waste Management trucks will also be made available for waste collections and subsequent disposal of same at the dump site of the metropolis.
