GOVT. CALLS FOR COLLABORATIONS WITH SECURITY AGENCIES


-Olukoju Visits NSCDC Kwara Command 

The Kwara State Government has called for further collaborations between security agencies and government, to ensure effective protection of lives and properties of  Kwara residents, even as the state Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Bola Olukoju paid a courtesy visit to  Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, Kwara Command Office, Ilorin, the State Capital.

The Commissioner made this call during the week, when she paid a courtesy visit to Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Commandant Umar Mohammed, in his office.

Olukoju appreciated the security outfit for its outstanding support for Kwarans at all times as well as the reliability of its security structure across the state.

The Communications Expert explained that the present administration under the leadership of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is all out to make lives of Kwara residents more secured and safe by providing them with a harmonious and peaceful environment to live in.

Hon. Olukoju stated further that the visit became very necessary, to seek for more collaborations with the state government, particularly the Ministry of Communications saddled with the responsibility of public orientation.

She assured the command that her ministry is ready to cooperate fully and work with them to ensure the message of peace and stability is delivered to the good people of Kwara State and for the public to shun criminal activities.

In his response, Commandant Umar Mohammed appreciated Hon. Olukoju for the visit, with a promise to leave no stone unturned at ensuring a crime-free Kwara.

The Commandant also expressed the Command’s readiness to partner with the Ministry, adding that communicating with the public will be much easier when it’s done through Ministry of Communications.

He assured the Commissioner of the Command’s services whenever the need arises. “I assure you the Command is well equipped and with the complement of human personnel, to tackle any form of criminality or public disturbance.
