KWSG PROCURES BROADCAST EQUIPMENTS FOR KWTV


In a bid to enhance the productivity of the Kwara State Television Authority (KWTV), and to ensure the TV station is placed on a standard level of broadcasting, the Kwara State Government has procured new set of back up equipments for the state owned media house.

The Honorable Commissioner of Communications, Hon. Bola Olukoju while unveiling the equipments at the broadcasting station this week commended the State Government for its proactiveness and ensuring the state owned media outfits are fully equipped to operate at optimal levels.

She further charged the management of the TV station to ensure they make good use of the equipments to boost their viewership, noting that the Government of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is leaving no stone unturned in the journey of placing Kwara in the league of developed states in Nigeria and the world at large.

In her words “Every individual familiar with what KWTV used to be will agree that we are definitely getting better day after day “. She urged the staff of KWTV to be more proactive and justify the good actions of the present government.

In his response, the General Manager of KWTV Alhaji Ayobami Akanbi expressed his appreciation to the Kwara State Government for its steadfast commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the TV station and also the consistent support for all the state owned media outfits.

The GM explained that with the availability of this state of art equipments, the TV station will be able to maintain quality and dish out educational, informative and entertaining contents for the citizens of Kwara State.

The new equipments procured include; Vimix system with Configuration, Black Magic design Aten Television Studio Pro 4k switcher and Black Magic Decklink Mini Monitor 4k.

It could be recalled that KwaraTv was in comatose at the advent of Gov. AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq administration in 2019, but was rescucitated and repositioned through the consistent interventions of the state government.
