We have moved, join the moving train-Towoju

The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has been praised of his simplicity and determination to use government's resources judiciously for the progress of the State.

The accolades were showered on the governor by the Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, during an interactive Radio Programme, "The Platform."

Towoju, who made reference to the Governor's recently-celebrated birthday, said Mallam AbdulRazaq is committed to easing the affairs of workers in the State and the general public, as opposed to recklessly lavishing the state's resources, on his birth anniversary.

In Kwara State right now, it is getting better. In fact, we have moved. Everybody that desires progress should join the moving train. Governor AbdulRazaq keeps doing it and he has given all the senators free hands to excel, no wonder one of them just organised a mega empowerment in the state's name," Towoju stated.

"Governor AbdulRazaq is a simple man. He is the type of Governor this state has been yearning for. You will recall that the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, who came to witness the recent mega empowerment project carried out by the Senator representing Kwara North, Sodiq Umar, also attested to the fact that AbdulRahman has outperformed his predecessors to be the best preforming governor. Coming from the number three man in the Country, this statement means a lot. That is just the simple truth," the commissioner added.

On the special prayer organized by the staff of the ministry for the governor, the commissioner said that it came as a surprise to him as he was glad that civil servants appreciate the effort of the governor in paying the long-awaited minimum wage that their colleagues in other states have been enjoying.

" It is a thing of joy for me to see my staff beaming with smiles. I am glad that they have been motivated and they are grateful to the governor. The prayers they made to God on behalf of the Governor will definitely be answered and together, we will all reap the the benefits of this administration," he said.

Towoju reiterated that in the year 2022 budget, capital expenditure takes a higher percentage and he assured Kwarans that more projects will be embarked upon by the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
