Kwara Civil Service Commission Invites Applications for Key Health Sector Positions


Kwara State Government Health Sector Recruitment 2025

The Kwara State Government has announced new job vacancies for qualified health professionals to fill various limited positions within the state’s civil service workforce.

This recruitment drive aligns with the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen public healthcare delivery and improve the efficiency of medical services across the state.

In a statement signed by Hajia Kafayat Jimoh, Permanent Secretary of the Civil Service Commission, the Commission invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following positions:

  • Medical Officers
  • Staff Nurse / Staff Midwife
  • Pharmacist
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist
  • Medical Record Officers
  • Health Attendants

General Requirements

All applicants are expected to possess the following documents and qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Qualification relevant to the position applied for
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate
  • Higher Education Certificate (e.g., Degree, HND, or equivalent)
  • WAEC/SSCE Certificate
  • First School Leaving Certificate
  • Citizenship Certificate
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age

Method of Application

Interested applicants are required to submit one (1) copy of their application letter and Curriculum Vitae (CV) in a brown A4-size envelope. Applications should be addressed and delivered to:

Applicants are to submit their credentials to Room 6 of the Civil Service Commission office.

Application opens on Friday, 9th May 2025, and closes on Sunday, 18th May 2025. Applicants are strongly advised to ensure all required documents are included to avoid disqualification.
