Kwara Education Ministry Commences Online Placement Registration for 2025 Common Entrance Examination

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has officially commenced the online placement registration for the 2025 Common Entrance Examination into Public Junior Secondary Schools across Kwara State. The exercise is fully sponsored by the Kwara State Government to promote free and inclusive education.

According to a statement from the Ministry, the registration will run from Wednesday, June 11 to Monday, June 23, 2025. Detailed guidelines and procedures for the exercise are available on the official placement portal: https://placement.kwarastate.gov.ng.

The Ministry emphasized that the exercise is fully sponsored by the Kwara State Government, in line with its commitment to providing free and inclusive education. It reiterated that both the registration and the placement examination are completely free of charge.

The statement further directed that all prospective pupils must be registered through their current primary schools. Private primary schools are to obtain clearance from the Ministry’s Quality Assurance Bureau to access their login credentials for the portal.

In addition, a capacity-building training for head teachers of all public primary schools commenced today, June 11, 2025, as part of efforts to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of the placement exercise.

The Ministry noted that the date of the placement examination, which will be conducted in all public junior secondary schools across the state, will be announced in due course.

However, the Ministry cautioned head teachers against charging pupils for the exercise, warning that any officer found doing so would face disciplinary action in line with public service regulations.
