KWASRRA Seeks for Synergy with Relevant Govt MDAs in Upscaling Operations
In a bid to upscale its operations in the residents' registration drive, the Kwara State Resident Registration Agency (KWASSRA) has recently held a stakeholders engagement meeting with some relevant Federal and State ministries, agencies and departments (MDAs), respectively.
Speaking at the stakeholders’ engagement, Mr. Jimoh reiterated that for KWASRRA to be able to deliver on its mandate, there is a need for strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, such as the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC); National Population Commission (NPC); the Kwara State Health Insurance Scheme (KWHIS), among others.
"Your presence here today reflects a shared commitment to a common goal in establishing a reliable and inclusive residents database that will serve as a foundation for an improved planning, resource allocation and service delivery across the State", he stated.
Considering the peculiarities of challenges associated with data collection, not only in Kwara State, but nationwide, Mr. Jimoh emphasized the Agency's inevitable need for collaboration with all the stakeholders present in order to harness their individual potentials for mutual benefits.
In attendance at the meeting were the consultant on the residents card project - Proximaforte Ltd, the National Population Commission, NIMC, Kwara State Health Insurance Scheme, and staff of KWASRRA.
