The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission (KSSC), Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has fulfilled his bonus and winning promises to members of Kwara United Football Club following their hard-won semi-final victory over Rangers International Football Club of Enugu State.
Mallam Mogaji made the presentation during the week to the team captain, Afeez Olororo, at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin.
He equally motivated the players and technical crew with cash donations ahead of the much-anticipated President's Federation Cup final against Abakaliki Football Club of Ebonyi State.
Reaffirming his commitment to the team’s success, Mallam Mogaji assured the players that the Kwara State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is solidly behind them and will provide all necessary support to help them clinch the Federation Cup title.
Conveying the Governor’s goodwill message to the team, the Chairman revealed that His Excellency, who is currently in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on the 2025 holy pilgrimage, will pray for the team’s success and has pledged his full support.
With just days to the final soccer competition, the atmosphere remains charged with optimism as stakeholders, fans, and the entire state rally behind the club in its quest for national glory.
