KWASRRA Urges Pensioners to Send Details by SMS, No Physical Visit Required

Official press release from KWASRRA advising pensioners to send required details via SMS for May 2025 pension complaints.

The Kwara State Residents Registration Agency (KWASRRA) has advised all State pensioners who did not receive their May 2025 pension payments to lodge their complaints via SMS, stating that there is no need to visit the agency’s office physically.

This follows multiple complaints from affected pensioners after the disbursement of May pensions. To ensure swift resolution, KWASRRA has introduced a simple and secure SMS-based process. Affected pensioners are advised to send the following information via SMS only to the dedicated number 08032059986:

  1. Full Name
  2. Verification Number
  3. Pension Number
  4. Account Number and Bank Name
  5. National Identification Number (NIN)
  6. KWASRRA SSID Number

Pensioners who may have misplaced or lost their KWASRRA SSID can retrieve it online by visiting www.kwasrra.ng/register/validate and entering their National Identification Number (NIN). This will enable quick access to the SSID required for processing.

KWASRRA reiterates that there is no need for physical visits to its office for the resolution of these issues. The SMS-based system has been designed to ensure that complaints are handled quickly, conveniently, and efficiently.

The Agency assures all pensioners that every legitimate case will be treated with urgency to ensure no eligible pensioner is left unpaid.
