Eid al-Adha: Abolore Greets Muslims, Salutes Governor AbdulRazaq's Leadership
The Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Afees Abolore Alabi, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithfuls, farmers, and the people of Kwara State on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
Dr. Abolore described the celebration as a time of reflection, sacrifice, and unity. He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the acts of worship and sacrifice offered in this season and blesses every household with lasting peace and fulfillment.
The Commissioner also felicitated with the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and wished him and his family a joyous and spiritually rewarding Eid. He prayed for continued strength and divine guidance for the Governor, while commending his impactful leadership and consistent commitment to the development of Kwara State and the nation at large.
He further acknowledged the vital contributions of Kwara’s farming communities, whose efforts remain central to food security and agricultural growth. Dr. Abolore reaffirmed the Ministry’s resolve to keep supporting farmers and advancing sustainable agricultural initiatives across the State.
“As we celebrate, let us be mindful of the progress we’re building together and the shared responsibility we bear in shaping a stronger, more self-reliant Kwara,” he noted.
He urged residents to celebrate responsibly and to continue praying for peace, stability, and sustained progress in Kwara State and across Nigeria.
