NBAIS Seeks State Government Recognition for Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examination SAISSCE.
The National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) Zone 5, Kwara State has sought for Government support through provision of more funds for the State Arabic Education Board and Scholarships for Arabic and Islamic Studies Students in the State.
This was made known today at the office of the Kwara State Head of Service during a courtesy visit to the Office by the Head of Quality Assurance of the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies, Zone 5, Mallam Saleem Sulaiman Jamiu.
Sulaiman solicited that the State Government should issue a directive to all State Government establishments on the need to recognise and accept the Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examination (SAISSCE) which is conducted by the National Board for Arabic and islamic Studies like other Senior Secondary School certificates like GCE, SSCE among others.
In her response, the Permanent Secretary Service Welfare, Dr. (Mrs) Olufunke Mercy Shittu
said that since they have made known their intentions,and have communicated the Executive Governor of Kwara State about their requests, she noted that the the Office of the Head of Service is assuring them of premium attention as soon as approval of the same is forwarded to the Office.

Head, Certificate Unit.
