Kwara Government Reaffirms Commitment to Student Empowerment

 

The Kwara State Commissioner for Youth Development, Amb. Ndanusa Usman Shehu, has reiterated the State Government’s unwavering commitment to the growth and development of students across tertiary institutions.

He made this declaration during a courtesy visit by the Association of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management (AIRPM), University of Ilorin Chapter, to his office earlier today.

Amb. Ndanusa lauded the association for its dedication to human capital development and its proactive efforts in engaging students through academic and professional programs. He acknowledged the importance of such initiatives in equipping young people for future leadership and workforce readiness.

“Education remains a cornerstone of our administration,” he emphasized, “and we are resolute in our mission to provide an enabling environment for students to thrive academically, socially, and professionally.”

The Commissioner praised the visionary leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), noting that his administration has consistently prioritized education, leading to significant improvements in infrastructure, student welfare, and learning environments.

“Students are the bedrock of our future,” he continued. “We are committed to supporting them through well-rounded development programs, enhanced educational facilities, and policies that position them to compete globally.”

In response, AIRPM President Olagunle Ganiu Olakunle commended the Commissioner for his approachable leadership style and assured the Ministry of the association’s readiness to collaborate on student-focused capacity-building initiatives across the State’s tertiary institutions.
