KWASSIP: AMDON COMMENDS GOVERNOR ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRAZAQ’S DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES

The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has been commended on the visible developmental strides, which are geared towards a sustainable economic development in the state. 

While appreciating the newly inaugurated Executives of the Kwara State Association of Motor Dealers of Nigeria (AMDON) for the commendation and encomium showered upon the state government in his office, the General Manager, Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP), Dr Abdulwasiu Tejidini also appreciated the Association’s economic activities through prompt tax payments and other business activities in the state.

Dr Tejidini urged the Association to adhere to government policies and regulations, which have been put in place to guide their transportation business, reiterating government’s commitment to inclusive growth. 

He promised to explore areas of mutual cooperation that would benefit both AMDON members and the state in terms of social investment and financial opportunities.

Earlier, the President, Kwara Kwara State Association of Motor Dealers of Nigeria, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Hadi, thanked Governor AbdulRazaq for his unwavering commitment to the development of the state, seeking for continued support and cooperation of the state government.

Alhaji Hadi noted that the establishment of an Agency like KWASSIP is a demonstration of how compassionate the Governor is towards upliftment of the poor, the vulnerable groups and entrepreneurs, to create a more equitable environment for all.

Also speaking, the Secretary of AMDON, Alhaji Tajudeen Okin, reaffirmed the Association’s readiness to partner with the state government and KWASSIP in all areas that will enhance the economic development of members and the general public.

The visit marks a renewed partnership between AMDON and government agencies, aimed at fostering economic empowerment and social inclusion in Kwara State.
