Engage Professionals in Building Projects — KWGIS Chairman

The Executive Chairman, Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KWGIS), ESV. AbdulKareem Babatunde Sulyman, has urged Kwarans to always make use of professionals when embarking on building constructions, to avoid unnecessary building collapse and other dire consequences.

The Chairman dropped this hint in his office today, while fielding questions from journalists.

During the press session, the Chairman said; "regulatory agencies are put in place by government for our own safety and to ensure that the master plan of each society is strictly adhere to. Therefore, I urge Nigerians, especially Kwarans, to make use of professionals in all stages of their building constructions for their own peace of mind and safety."

While condemning the incessant building collapse in parts of the country, he stressed the fact that properties involved largely falls short of professional input and evaluation, adding that "a routine inspection duly carried out by professionals can prevent such negative menace and anomaly."

The KW-GIS Boss who commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his giant strides in the last six years, called on Kwarans to support the present administration for better performance, in order to take Kwara State to greater heights.
