COMMISSIONER ENJOINS CONTRACTOR TO BRACE UP WORK ON OMU-ARAN WATERWORKS REHABILITATION PROJECT

The Kwara State Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade, has enjoined the Company - DELKO International Nigeria Ltd., handling the ongoing waterworks rehabilitation project at Omu-Aran to brace up with the work.

 The Commissioner stated this when he carried out an on-the-spot assessment of the project recently.

Hon. Lade expressed satisfaction with the level of work done and counselled the company to deliver the project in accordance with the contract specifications.

" Yes, I am happy with the level of work carried out so far and I will also like you to deliver a diligent job that the State Government will be proud of", he said.

Responding, the company’s Engineer overseeing the project, Engr. Kola Aransiola, promised not to disappoint the State Government on the confidence reposed on them.

He noted that the necessary materials needed to ensure that the project stands the test of time would definitely be used for the rehabilitation.

Conducting the Commissioner round the facility, the Ministry's Consultant, Dr. Hakeem Olawale, explained that he inspects the site regularly to ensure that the right materials are procured and fixed correctly, pointing out that all parts of the project specified in the contract agreement will be diligently and effectively executed.
