KW-HMB Assures Residents of Quality Healthcare Services

The Kwara State Hospital Management Board (KW-HMB) has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to residents of the State.

The Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Abdulraheem Malik, made this known during a routine monitoring and supervision exercise at the Aisha Buhari Mother and Child Hospital in Eyenkorin, Ilorin West Local Government Area of the State.

Dr. Malik stated that ongoing upgrades to facilities across all sixteen local government areas is aimed at creating a conducive environment for both healthcare professionals and patients receiving treatment.

He emphasized that solarization projects, among other initiatives in general and cottage hospitals in the State are being implemented in phases, assuring the public that all facilities under the Board will benefit from the improvements.

"This routine monitoring and supervision exercise provides us with first hand information about issues such as faulty inverters, and we are taking necessary measures to address these problems," he explained.

Dr. Malik assured the public that the Kwara State government, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is committed to providing all necessary amenities and human resources required to ensure maximum service delivery to the people of the State.

Some of the hospital departments visited during the exercise included the laboratory, medical records, pharmacy, maternity, and others. Also inspected were the theatre room, wards, faulty inverters, transformers, and generating sets, among others.
