Commissioner Charges Staff to be Proactive

The New Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development, Chief Mrs Abosede Olaitan Buraimoh has charged staffs of the Ministry to be proactive in discharging their duties, in order to take the ministry to greater height 

 Buraimoh gave this charge today, on assumption of office, following the cabinet reshuffle, earlier this week.

She urged the management and entire staffers of the Ministry to be proactive, remain steadfast and committed duty, in order to add value to governance.
 Buraimoh appreciated the warm  welcome accorded her on assumption of duty, with an appeal to be loyal and more dedicated to work, to compliment government efforts.

She also charged staffers of various departments to work in synergy, to ease their jobs and enhance productivity, with the aim of achieving target goals of the Ministry.

Handing over to the new Commissioner, the outgoing Commissioner, Dr Alabi Afeez Abolore appraised the staffers of the Ministry, for their commitment and dedication to work, with an appeal that they give their new Principal maximum cooperation, to achieve greater success.

In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Tpl Isiaka Yinka Olokoba welcomed the new Commissioner and assured her of maximum support and cooperation

While praying for greater success and achievements for Dr Abolore in his new office as Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Olokoba also wished the newly posted Commissioner, Hon Olaitan Buraimoh, a successful tenure of office, in the state Ministry of Solid Minerals Development.

Kwara TESCOM releases CBT results, to announce cutoffs ahead of interview, screenings

Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) said applicants for the public school teaching jobs can now check the results of the CBT done earlier on Saturday.  TESCOM Chairman Mallam Bello Taoheed said all the applicants who sat the test can access their results on the portal. "This is the first step after the exams. The Commission will soon release the cutoffs that would determine the candidates who proceed to the interview stage, among other things," he said. "At the end of the CBT, a total of 8,529 sat and completed the exam across the centres. The breakdowns are as follows: COED Ilorin, 2,891; Ilorin West LGA, 1,991; UNILORIN, 1,677; Lafiagi, 812; Offa, 586; Oko, 297; Patigi, 275. A total of 9,459 applicants had been invited for the CBT across the seven centres. The remaining applicants did not show up for the exercise. Breaking: TESCOM adjusts job interview schedule

Kwara TESCOM Opens Application Portal for Teaching Jobs

•Urges applicants to adhere to rules spelt out in initial statement •Portal opens Wednesday, 5th February - Friday, 14th February, 2025 The Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has released the application link for its teaching job openings. Interested and qualified individuals can apply through: https://tescom.kwarastate.gov.ng . The link will go live at 12 midnight on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, and will close on Friday, February 14th, 2025.
