The Kwara State Hospital Management Board (KWHMB) has again made good its commitment to providing quality and accessible healthcare services to all residents of the State.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Abdulraheem Malik disclosed this today during the inspection of the installation of solar inverters at the Cottage Hospital, Tsaragi in the Tsaragi local government area of the State.

Malik stressed that the installation of solar inverters in the hospital would go a long way in improving the quality of healthcare services, ensuring that the Tsaragi community enjoy seamless healthcare service delivery with uninterrupted power supply.

The Executive Secretary explained that the installation was based on the recommendation of the Kwara State Hospital Management Board after conducting a thorough needs assessment.

He then urged the staff of the hospital to take ownership of the maintenance of the solar inverters so they can stand the test of time.

Also speaking, the Chief Medical Director of the Tsaragi Cottage Hospital, Dr. Elizabeth Tasa Tsado who commended the Kwara State government and the leadership of the Hospital Management Board for their efforts at improving quality  healthcare service delivery across the State, pledged to reciprocate the gestures with dedication to duties

Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) said applicants for the public school teaching jobs can now check the results of the CBT done earlier on Saturday.  TESCOM Chairman Mallam Bello Taoheed said all the applicants who sat the test can access their results on the portal. "This is the first step after the exams. The Commission will soon release the cutoffs that would determine the candidates who proceed to the interview stage, among other things," he said. "At the end of the CBT, a total of 8,529 sat and completed the exam across the centres. The breakdowns are as follows: COED Ilorin, 2,891; Ilorin West LGA, 1,991; UNILORIN, 1,677; Lafiagi, 812; Offa, 586; Oko, 297; Patigi, 275. A total of 9,459 applicants had been invited for the CBT across the seven centres. The remaining applicants did not show up for the exercise. Interested and qualified individuals can apply through: https://tescom.kwarastate.gov.ng . The link will go live at 12 midnight on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, and will close on Friday, February 14th, 2025.
