Breaking: TESCOM adjusts job interview schedule

Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has adjusted the timetable for the screening and interview of applicants for its teaching job. 

The interview started on Tuesday involving applicants from Asa, Ilorin East, Ilorin South, and Oke Ero. 

The new timetable is as follows:
Day 2 
* Baruteen - 150
* Edu.         - 601
* Patigi.      - 281
* Kaiama.   - 93
* Irepodun.  - 372
* Isin.           - 225
Total.            - 1,722

Day 3
* Ifelodun.  - 413
* Moro.    - 232
* Offa       - 308
* Ekiti.      - 200
* Oyun.     -231
Total - 1,384

Day 4
* Ilorin West - 1,310
* Non Kwara- 362
* Total 1,672.

All applicants already invited for the interview are to note this adjustment and make appearances as applicable to them. 

"Applicants are to also note that all the interviews and the screenings will be held at the KWASU International Conference Centre,  including the one on Friday, February  28, 2025.

Kwara TESCOM releases CBT results, to announce cutoffs ahead of interview, screenings

Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) said applicants for the public school teaching jobs can now check the results of the CBT done earlier on Saturday.  TESCOM Chairman Mallam Bello Taoheed said all the applicants who sat the test can access their results on the portal. "This is the first step after the exams. The Commission will soon release the cutoffs that would determine the candidates who proceed to the interview stage, among other things," he said. "At the end of the CBT, a total of 8,529 sat and completed the exam across the centres. The breakdowns are as follows: COED Ilorin, 2,891; Ilorin West LGA, 1,991; UNILORIN, 1,677; Lafiagi, 812; Offa, 586; Oko, 297; Patigi, 275. A total of 9,459 applicants had been invited for the CBT across the seven centres. The remaining applicants did not show up for the exercise. Kwara TESCOM Opens Application Portal for Teaching Jobs

•Urges applicants to adhere to rules spelt out in initial statement •Portal opens Wednesday, 5th February - Friday, 14th February, 2025 The Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has released the application link for its teaching job openings. Interested and qualified individuals can apply through: https://tescom.kwarastate.gov.ng . The link will go live at 12 midnight on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, and will close on Friday, February 14th, 2025. In a statement on Tuesday, TESCOM Chairman Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar urged all applicants to carefully read through the portal for guidance on the application process. “All applicants are advised to read the press statement initially issued on the recruitment process.
