KWASRRA CALLS ON RESIDENTS TO GET TIN TO FACILITATE REGISTRATION
The General Manager, Kwara State Residents Registration Agency (KWASRRA), Mr. Tajudeen Jimoh addressing residents inside the Banquet Hall, Ilorin, Kwara State.
The Kwara State Residents Registration Agency has called on all residents to ensure that their Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) are readily available before coming for registration in order to facilitate the registration exercise.
The General Manger, Kwara State Residents Registration Agency, Mr. Tajudeen Jimoh, made this call today during the ongoing residents registration for Kwara State Civil Servants at the Banquet Hall in Ilorin, the State capital.
Addressing Civil Servants, who have expired Tax Identification Number ID cards, Mr. Jimoh noted that the numbers on the expired cards are still valid for registration, advising them to renew the cards after the registration for future purposes.
He added that those that are yet to generate their Tax Identification Numbers should visit the staff of Kwara State Internal Rẹvenue Service (KWIRS) present at the banquet hall, to facilitate the residents registration exercise, explaining that the forms are made available by the KWIRS staff to help generate the Tax Identification Numbers for residents, who do not have theirs.
The General Manager disclosed that majority of Civil Servants have generated their request IDs, which is one of the processes to get the TIN, urging them to also visit the KWRIS stand inside the Banquet Hall, to get their TINs.
Mr. Jimoh reiterated the need for all Civil Servants to have their TINs before registration, as it is vital for successful registration, while noting that some Civil Servants boycotted this process and proceeded with the registration with the request ID, which made the registration unsuccessful.
The General Manager therefore advised those with request ID to revisit the registration venue with their TINs to undergo new registration as the previous registration is not valid and has rendered the registration process unsuccessful.
