Commissioner Charges Press Secretaries and State Information Officers on Professionalism

The State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Bolanle Olukoju, has charged Press Secretaries and Information Officers across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to adhere strictly to ethics of professionalism, in order to excel in their choice profession, even as she assured them of consistent training and retraining to enhance their skills and effectiveness, as journalists. 

Olukoju stated this today, during her interface with Press Secretaries and Information Officers, at the conference room of the ministry.


 Speaking at the interactive session, Hon. Olukoju emphasized on the fact that journalism is a profession grounded in principles, ethics and guidelines, which must be strictly followed, adding that "there should be no laxity on this job. You know the rules, therefore ensure you follow them at all times. But if in doubt, please leave out or confirm if you must use it
