The Civil Service Hospital, Ilorin will be closed down until further notice for major upgrade, expansion and reconstruction of the entire hospital.


All services offered by this hospital are hereby moved to Sobi Specialist Hospital. All patients appointments will still be honored as scheduled at Sobi Specialist.

Movement Restriction in Kwara as Monthly Sanitation Exercise holds on Saturday

This is to inform members of the public that the sanitation exercise for the month of September, 2024, will come up on Saturday 28th between 7:00 am and 10:00 am. Residents of the State are enjoined to participate in the exercise by cleaning their residential and business environments. It is also mandatory for all residents to clear drainages and bushes around their surroundings for health and safety reasons.  There will be no vehicular movement across the state within the three-hour duration of the exercise. Security, monitoring agents, environmental health officers (Wole-wole), Scientific officers and members of the Environmental Task Force will go round to monitor and ensure compliance, and sanction offenders, as may be necessary.  Waste management trucks will also be made available for waste collection and subsequent dumping at the government approved dump site.  Members of the public are again warned that it is an offence to dump refuse on pedestrian walkways, road div
