KWSG Commissions Newly Renovated Magajingeri Primary Healthcare Centre

The Kwara State Government has commissioned the newly renovated Magajingeri Primary Health Centre (PHC) at the Ilorin West Local Government Area of the State today, making it the third primary health centre to be commissioned this week by the Government.

Highlighting the government's commitment to improving healthcare services across the State, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Amina Ahmed El-lmam emphasized Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's dedication to providing quality healthcare infrastructure, noting that the Governor approved the complete renovation and equipping of the Magajingari PHC.

Dr. El-lmam urged residents of Magajingari and its environs to cherish, protect, and utilize the facility, underscoring the importance of community involvement in healthcare initiatives.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duty, Alhaji Jidah Abdulrasaq expressed gratitude to the State Government for the renovation, stressing the pivotal role of PHCs in grassroots health-care. He urged healthcare workers to uphold standards and ensure patients receive optimal care.

The Community leader of Magajingari, Alhaji Toyin Abubakar praised the administration's efforts and conveyed the appreciation of the Magajingari community for the renovation, acknowledging the significance of the gesture.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including Permanent Secretary Alhaja Afusat Ibrahim, Executive Secretary Hospital Management Board, Dr Abdulraheem Malik, Magaji Are, Alhaji Zubair Aremu, Makama of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Oniye, delegates from the State Ministry of Health, the Kwara State Health Insurance Agency, Primary Health Care Development Agency, Executive Secretary, Hospital Management Board Dr Abdulmalik Abdulraheem and local community leaders, symbolizing collaborative efforts towards advancing healthcare in Kwara State.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
