KWSG Commissions Newly Renovated Ago Oja Primary Healthcare Facility

The Kwara State Government has commissioned the newly renovated Ago Oja Primary Healthcare facility in Ago Oja at the Asa Local Government Area of the State today as part of its concerted efforts aimed at strengthening primary health care facilities. 

The Commissioner for Health,  Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam, who witnessed accolades showered on the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his passionate efforts at upscaling the health sector, expressed gratitude to the people of the community for supporting the administration. 

Dr. El-Imam who described the Ago Oja Primary Healthcare project as one of the numerous initiatives of the Governor, emphasized its potentials at effectively reaching more people at the grassroots. 

She added that the commissioning marked a significant stride in the commitment of the Kwara State Government towards providing accessible and affordable healthcare services to its citizens.

Dr. El-Imam then urged the community to make optimal use of the facility, emphasizing the government's commitment to providing further infrastructure to enhance healthcare delivery across the State.

The TIC Chairman of Asa Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Saadi Atebise who expressed gratitude to the State Government for the renovation, highlighted its role in improving the quality of health care in the local government.

Alhaji Atebise called on all health workers in the facility to exhibit unwavering commitment to their duties by ensuring that all patients receive maximum care and ensure seamless healthcare delivery in the facility.

Representing the community, the Jagunmolu of Ago Oja, Alhaji Muhammed Yusuf, extended heartfelt appreciation to the State Government for renovating the facility, which he said had been built for over 40 years and pledged the community's cooperation and support to ensure the operation of the facility at full capacity to serve the healthcare needs of the community.

The event was attended by relevant stakeholders, including Hajia Afusat Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary, Directors of the State Ministry of Health, Hon. Toheeb Omotosho, Commissioner 1, Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Dauda Salahudeen Ilufemiloye 1, Mogaji of Ago Oja, and his council of chiefs, among others.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
