Kwara Water Corporation Shuts Eastern Line for Repairs till April 18

Kwara State Water Corporation on Saturday said it will shut down the Eastern line (in Ilorin) for some repairs from next Monday, April 15.

"This is to inform  all consumers that we shall be shutting  down  Eastern line for repair job on the leakage  pipe  of  High Lift pump no. 5 from Monday  15th of April, hoping  to finish on or before  Thursday  18th  of April, 2024," according to a statement by Assistant General Manager (Mechanical & Electrical).

The statement said the Corporation regrets the inconveniences this temporary shutdown may cause its customers.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
