DEP GOV KAYODE ALABI LEADS KWSG DELEGATION ON CONDOLENCE VISIT TO KORO

The Kwara State Government delegation today paid a condolence visit to Koro community in Ekiti Local Government area of Kwara state following the killing of the Olukoro of Koro, Rtd Gen. Oba Peter Segun Aremu.

The Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi, who represented Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, led the delegation to extend the heartfelt condolences of the Governor and the people of Kwara state to the grieving community. 

He stated that the passing of the Oba Peter Segun Aremu leaves an irreplaceable void. He prayed that the memories of his benevolent rule serve as a source of solace and inspiration. 

While restating the administration's commitment to safety of the citizens, he said everybody should join the efforts to rid the state of banditry and of her violent crimes.
With collective vigilance and a shared commitment to safety, a secure environment for ourselves and our community can be attained, the Deputy Governor said.

He assured that the state government will not rest on its oars until the perpetrators of the evil act are fished out and other abducted persons released.

Others on the delegation include Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly, Honorable Olayiwola Ojo, some other members of the state Assembly, and State Chairman of the APC Prince Sunday Fagbemi.
