NEW COMMISSIONER ASSUMES OFFICE IN MINISTRY OF YOUTHS DEVELOPMENT

The newly appointed Kwara State Commissioner for Youths Development, Hon. Nafisat Buge, has reiterated the present administration's commitment to the empowerments and development of youths in the state. 

Hon. Nafisat, the newly sworn in Commissioner by the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam   AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, pledged to work with the Management and Staff of the Ministry to achieve the desired growth and development of youths in the State.

While appreciating the Governor for entrusting her with the new assignment, she promised to positively discharge her duty with topmost concern and commitment.

According to her, " I appreciate the People's Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for giving me this opportunity. I have been posted here as the Chief Servant, and I look forward to learning from everyone," she said.

"I pray that we have a good working relationship, so that we can together achieve greater heights, and I can at night sleep with my two eyes closed," she reiterated.

The Commissioner further pledged her loyalty and support to the development and sustainability of the  present administration's achievements in the State.

In his welcome address, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Abdulrasak Babatunde Alabere, described the staff of the ministry as hardworking, committed and ready to work with the newly appointed Commissioner.

The Permanent Secretary who assured the new Commissioner of their support prayed that her appointment would bring more progress and development to youths in the State.

In attendance are, Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Hon. Aliyu kora Sabi, Commissioner II Civil Service Commission, Mrs Jemilat Adamu Bake, Director Personnel Finance and Supply of the ministry, Mrs Ajide Funmilola Adenike and Director Youth, Alh. Abdulsalam Akeem and Controller of Finance and Account, Alh. Babatunde Garba.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Government launched the Kwapreneur program as a strategic effort to empower industrious and innovative young entrepreneurs across the state. Established in December 2019, KWASSIP is committed to combating extreme poverty and enhancing financial inclusion among underserved populations in Kwara State. Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
