CHAIRMAN CHARGES STAFF ON DEDICATION

The newly appointed Acting Executive Chairman, Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KW-GIS), ESV Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman has charged the Management and ⁶Staff of the Agency to be proactive and more dedicated in discharging their duties, to add values to the state Geographic Information Services, in order to carry the agency to greater heights.

The Acting Executive Chairman gave this charge during his maiden meeting with the Directorates and Unit Heads of the Agency today, at the Conference Room of the agency.

He urged the four (4) Directorates of Survey, Lands, Physical Planning, Development and Control as well as Urban and Regional Planning to work together as an entity, in order to achieve the aims and objectives of the present administration of creating the State Geographic Information Services (KW-GIS).

While commending the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his developmental efforts across all sectors in the State, he also thanked the Governor for finding him worthy to pilot the affairs of KW-GIS Agency.

ESV Sulyman assured staff that the Agency would experience significant changes during his tenure, if given the needed support, that would culminate into a rapid transition to a complete digitalization of the agency.

The Chairman therefore, charged Management and Staff of the Agency to work with him to actualize the dream of Governor AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq, to maximize the revenue generation 
expected of the Agency.

In her response, the Acting Administrative Secretary, Mrs Motunrayo Adaran, prayed the Agency achieve its set goals under the newly appointed Executive Chairman and pledged undiluted supports and cooperation of Management and Staff of the Agency to government, at all times.

While commending Governor AbdulRazaq for appointing a retired Officer from the Agency to pilot the affairs of its affairs, the State Surveyor General, Surveyor Ibrahim Mohammed and Director, Urban and Regional planning, TPL Alao Fatai, described the appointment of ESV Sulyman as round peg in a round hole, praying for his successful tenure of office.

In his remarks, the Director, Lands Services, Esv. Abdulwahab Abdulrahaman appreciated God for the Chairman's appointment, assuring him of maximum cooperation of the entire staff of the be agency.

The Acting Executive Chairman of KW-GIS was later conducted round the offices comprising the Agency, to get acquainted with all the Directorates.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
