The Kwara State Commissioner for Health Dr Amina Ahmed El-Imam has inspected the newly constructed wards as well as the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the General Hospital, Ilorin.

Dr Amina El-Imam who  commended the effort of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the state of the art facilities at the hospital expressed satisfaction on the quality of the newly constructed world class wards.

She advised the management of the hospital to protect all the equipment provided inside the facilities for prolonged use in addressing the health care needs of the State.

The Commissioner who appreciated the staff for their dedication and punctuality, urged them to provide quality patient- centred health care to every Kwaran that visits the hospital.

The Chief Medical Director (CMD)of the hospital, Dr Ahmed Bola Abdulkadir and the Management of the hospital commended the State Government for the facilities and thanked the Commissioner for the visit, promising to provide quality health care to citizens of the State.

In company of the Commissioner was the Permanent Secretary of the Kwara State Ministry of Health, Dr Abubakar Olayiwola Ayinla.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Government launched the Kwapreneur program as a strategic effort to empower industrious and innovative young entrepreneurs across the state. Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes. It added that registration for the placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) is free, and it closes on Thursday 18th July,2024.
