Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day: Olukoju Expresses Gratitude to Kwarans

In commemoration of Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day, the Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Bolanle Olukoju, extends her heartfelt appreciation to the resilient and supportive people of Kwara. She acknowledges their unwavering support for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and reaffirms the Governor’s commitment to taking the State of Harmony to greater heights.

This was conveyed in a statement released today to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of Nigeria’s Independence Day.

The statement reads, in part, "Under the visionary leadership of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Kwara State has witnessed significant progress, with notable improvements in areas such as  Workers ’ welfare, Education, Security, and Healthcare. I assure Kwarans that these critical areas will remain top priorities for the government as it strives to enhance the overall well-being of Kwara citizens."

"As Kwara State marks this momentous day in Nigeria’s history, it’s an opportunity to celebrate our enduring spirit of unity and resilience," she added.

The Commissioner urges the people of Kwara State to keep Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in their thoughts and prayers for continued success in his efforts to uplift the state. She acknowledges that the low-key celebration of this year’s Independence Day anniversary reflects the current situation in the country, highlighting the need for thoughtful consideration and unity of purpose, at this critical time.

Furthermore, Hon. Olukoju calls upon the people of Kwara State to bear with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he navigates the nation toward a prosperous future. She emphasises the paramount importance of unity and collective effort in overcoming Nigeria’s current challenges.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Government launched the Kwapreneur program as a strategic effort to empower industrious and innovative young entrepreneurs across the state. Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
