Independent Body Lauds Gov. AbdulRazaq's Achievements

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been commended for the beneficial projects his administration has embarked upon, and commitment to the improvement of human capacity development in the State. 

The League of Kwara Youth Stakeholders made the commendation today in Ilorin, while addressing a "World Press Conference" with the theme, "Independent Assessment of the Programmes, Policies and Projects of the Government of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq".

When compared with past administrations in the state, the Mallam AbdulRazaq's administration, which was described as "an answer to the prayers and yearnings of the good people of Kwara State", was rated high and urged the people of the state to support his second term bid. 

The Press Conference, which was held at the NUJ Press Centre along Offa Road, Ilorin, had in attendance the State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Abubakar Saddiq Buhari, represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Christiana Omolola Asonibare, Directors from the Ministry and journalists from various media houses. 

Addressing journalists at the Press Conference, the convener of the event and Vice-President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, North-Central Chapter, Amb. Akoshile Mukhtar reeled out the achievements of the government in three years, admitting that the administration will definitely do more if Kwarans were to reciprocate by voting for the Governor in the 2023 general elections. 

"The government has done very well in various sectors and we know how things were before. We conducted an independent survey across the 16 Local Government Areas of the state and we have compiled the achievements of this government and we are here to let the people know and to remind them that things have definitely gotten better.

"We see how education is being transformed under the Kwara Education Transformation Agenda (KWETA) through the introduction of KwaraLearn in our public schools.

"The government is bridging the gap that used to exist between our public schools and private schools and this is one of its kind", Akoshile submitted.

He disclosed further that the health sector is witnessing a 360-degree turnaround with the purchase of modern equipment, as well as rehabilitation and construction of health centres across the state taking the forefront.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Government launched the Kwapreneur program as a strategic effort to empower industrious and innovative young entrepreneurs across the state. Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
