*BUHARI EXPRESSES CONFIDENCE IN GOV. ABDULRAZAQ'S SECOND TERM BID*

•As he calls on Kwarans to reciprocate Gov.'s kind gestures
The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Abubakar Saddiq Buhari, has disclosed that the present administration  is setting a new pace for national development as  the State is one of the leading States known for remarkable youth Inclusion, particularly with majority cabinet members being youths.

The Commissioner stated  this while featuring on a KwaraTV programme titled, "AM Drive". 

Hon. Buhari said that the Governor believes in maximising the potentials of the youths and granting them the opportunity to contribute their quota to the development of the State, adding that the inclusive method of administration uplift the assurance and confidence of residents in Kwara State. 

The Commissioner expressed confidence in the continuity of developmental strides even as he urged Kwarans to vote for the right candidate in the next year elections. 

He said, "Looking at the commitment of Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq to bring development to Kwara State, it is my belief that Kwarans are going to re-elect Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq at next year polls.

"That way, they will be doing well for themselves because it translates to even more goodies. We are talking of more road constructions, more schools being upgraded, more hospital renovations, more projects, our youths will continue to be gainfully employed and we will all continue enjoying.

"We are seeing how the Governor's impact is being felt in the media sector. Do not let us forget how the State Television Station, KwaraTV, was before we came on board.

"Now, we are on Startimes, working 24 hours with local content production too and we are even working towards getting on DSTV.

"Radio Kwara is better now and the Herald Newspapers is functioning well with publications thrice a week, and we hope to start producing daily. The Herald is also online for easy digital access and the app can be downloaded via Google Play Store," he added. 

Hon. Buhari noted that all the 16 Local
Government Areas of the State can boast of the impact of the government, revealing that all 193 wards have benefitted immensely from this administration.

In his words, "So far, over 100 roads have been completed across the state. In Tsaragi where I come from, we have two roads already completed, and that's just one Emirate. We will continue to give kudos to the Governor for not neglecting the Kwara North and other districts too." 

He assured that the Ministry will intensify its sensitization and continue urging eligible Kwarans to go out to collect their Permanent Voter's Cards (PVCs) and exercise their franchise at the 2023 General Elections which is in a few weeks' time.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Government launched the Kwapreneur program as a strategic effort to empower industrious and innovative young entrepreneurs across the state. Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
