Towoju wishes Nigerians A Happy Independence Day

The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju has felicitated fellow Nigerians on the occasion of the country's Independence Day Celebration.

In a Statement released today, Towoju said, " Every first of October, we celebrate the birth of the most exceptional Nation in the world, Nigeria. This historic date was caused by the sum total of the contribution of our forebears to nation-building occasioned by their passionate belief that Nigerians deserve to be independent.

" For Kwarans,  this is another day to celebrate the freedom of the state from the shackles of poverty, illiteracy, inhuman treatment and slavery put around their neck by the previous administrations in the state.

The statement reads further, " The Kwaran Journey being led by the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is a journey of hope which shall ultimately take Kwara to the promiseland.

" Kwarans should continue to support this administration in all ramifications. We are not where we should be yet but with the concerted effort of this administration geared towards making this state a better place for all Kwarans through its "ise nlo" mantra, surely, we are on the right track to our destination."
