Communications Ministry inaugurates MTSS Techinical Committee

The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has restated the government's support to the Ministry and all agencies under her.
He made this statement today during the Inauguration of the technical members of the Medium Term Sectoral Strategies (MTSS) in the Ministry's Conference Room.

Hon. Towoju commended the Directors of the Ministry and Heads of Agencies for putting “Kwara first.”

The members of the committee consists of all the Directors of the Ministry and the Heads of Agencies under the Ministry and is statutorily chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Communications.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Government launched the Kwapreneur program as a strategic effort to empower industrious and innovative young entrepreneurs across the state. Established in December 2019, KWASSIP is committed to combating extreme poverty and enhancing financial inclusion among underserved populations in Kwara State. Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes. It added that registration for the placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) is free, and it closes on Thursday 18th July,2024.
