Water Supply: Kwara never had it this good -Towoju

The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has re-echoed the government's landmark achievements in the Water sector, since it came on board in 2019. 

Towoju said this in a radio programme recently while addressing the rumours making rounds that some parts of Kwara State were battling with shortage of water supply. 

According to him, one of the mandate of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is to ensure that the nooks and crannies of Kwara State can boast of potable water and he stated that the Governor has been fulfilling his promise. 

"Governor Abdulrazaq is the People's Governor and he is concerned about the welfare of Kwarans. Prior to 2019, our people were suffering from shortage or lack of good water supply but now, the story has changed for good," Towoju said. 

While reacting to the purported 300% increment in government debt, the Communications Commissioner dismissed it as untrue and preposterous. 

" This government has been performing excellently well in the provision of basic amenities and the construction of laudable projects. The Governor has been venturing in profitable projects that are sure to turn Kwara State around for good. 

"Instead of being appreciated, it is unfortunate that lies and propaganda have been embraced to deceive the public but we rest assured that the public see it for what it is, just blatant lies by some set of people," Towoju added.

He urged Kwarans to shun all "side rumours" and join hands in spreading the "good news" of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq's unprecedented achievements in Kwara State.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024.
