Towoju commiserates with Speaker Danladi-Salihu on father's death

The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has sympathised with the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu, on the passing away of his father, Alhaji Salihu Aliyu Gwanara, on Friday, 17 June, 2022.

In a press statement issued on Saturday, Towoju commiserated with Speaker Danladi-Salihu and prayed to God to comfort him and his family over the monumental loss.

Towoju described the late patriarch as a foremost educator of great standing who made important contributions to educational development in the State. He enjoined the Speaker and the people of Borgu Kingdom to bear the irreparable loss as a will of Almighty Allah. 

Towoju also prayed for the repose of the soul and he expressed his heartfelt condolences to the entire people of Borgu Kingdom over the loss of the former councilor in the Old Borgu Kingdom and the Tafarikin Borgu.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
