Everything has changed in Kwara - Towoju

The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has reiterated that Kwara State is experiencing newness and a "breath of fresh air" after being held at "one spot" previously. 

Towoju said this on a radio programme at the weekend while speaking about the achievements of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in three years. 

He reeled out the government's achievements in health, education, water, works, media and other sectors and submitted that new and unprecedented feats are being witnessed in Kwara State.

" If we start with the fact that this exceptional governor was able to successfully pay the minimum wage for the workers, we will all agree that this is a major bonus to this administration. 

" For many years, the workers had even lost hope of ever getting their dues but Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq knows the importance of keeping the workforce happy and contented. 

"That way, you will earn their loyalty and they will be motivated to contribute their quota towards the development of our dear state." 

On the state of education, Towoju submitted that the governor was  trying to ensure that pupils and students in public schools are not left behind in quality education. 

"This administration has invested so much in education and it is no longer news that part of the investment is evident in our students performing well and participating in the World Schools competition in Netherlands later this year," he added. 

Towoju submitted that the government has embarked on several road projects and he added that the health sector is also thriving.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
