Towoju felicitates with Iya Lamule on birthday

The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has felicitated with the Special Assistant on Women Empowerment to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Alhaja Bolane Ismail (Iya Lamule), on her birth anniversary.

Towoju described  Iya Lamule as a selfless leader committed to seeing that all women in the state  prosper and thrive.

The Commissioner said this in a congratulatory message to mark the birthday of the woman leader.

"Iya Lamule is simply wonderful. Go to any occasion she attends and see how happy she makes Kwara women feel. They are always happy to rally round her and show her that they love her. They are enjoying her because she is using her office to serve God and humanity.

"Governor AbdulRazaq is passionate about the welfare of Kwarans and most importantly, the Kwara Woman, hence, the need to choose someone of high integrity and a kind heart, which led to the emergence of Iya Lamule as the Special Assistant on Women Empowerment.

"Our Governor, who recently won the He-for-She award for being the first and only governor to have, at least, a 35 per cent gender inclusion in political offices for women, made the right choice with Iya Lamule and on this note, I pray that God will lengthen her days and grant her everything her heart desires," the Commissioner added. 

Towoju prayed for God to ease her affairs and help her to continue excelling at her job of helping Kwara women.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Government launched the Kwapreneur program as a strategic effort to empower industrious and innovative young entrepreneurs across the state. Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
