KWSG has zero tolerance for kidnapping -Towoju

The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has stated that the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq frowns at the act of kidnapping and warned sternly that the law will not spare anyone caught in the nefarious act. 

He made this known during an interactive Radio Programme today in Ilorin. 

Towoju said that Kwara State is known as a peaceful state while stating that the Governor has zero tolerance for kidnapping and hinted that the bushes in some parts of the state are now covered by the Joint Task Force in order to stem the ugly tide of kidnapping in the state. 

Towoju commiserated with the family of the victim of Saturday  rescue mission and prayed for quick recovery for those  receiving treatment in the hospital.

On the recent defections making rounds in different parties of the state, Towoju maintained that the constitution allows for defections, while advising that decampees should make sure that they "put Kwara first" and not "jump from one party to another for selfish reasons."

Towoju maintained that the All Progressives Congress (APC) party in the state remains united and the members are committed to bringing Kwara to the promised land. 

He reiterated the governor's commitment in carrying everybody along in reaping the dividends of democracy and he stated that all the decampees have hitherto benefitted immeasurably from the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. 

The Commissioner also spoke about the  ongoing road constructions in the state, stressing  that they are done to  make life easier for Kwarans as the  roads will boost the economy of the state.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
