KWSG pledges to end water scarcity in the State

The Kwara State Government has again reiterated its determination to put an end to the scarcity of water experienced in some parts of the State.

The State Commissioner for Water Resources, Alhaji Abdulwahab Femi Agbaje stated this during a working visit to the on-going project at the Jebba Waterworks in Moro Local Government Area of the State.

Agbaje disclosed that the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has given the Ministry a marching order to ensure that all the nooks and crannies of the State have access to clean and potable water supply.


While commending the engineer handling the project, the Honourable Commissioner charged him to speed up the pace and also ensure its timely completion.

Responding, the project manager, Engr. Gboyega Durojaye appreciated the Commissioner for the visit and assured him that the project would be completed latest by March, 2022 or before.

In his remarks, the President, Jebba Descendants Union, Alhaji Yusuf Abdulkarim, appreciated the State Governor on behalf of the people of the community for the fulfilment of his promise to the people of the area and its environs. 

He also pledged the continuous support of his people to the present administration in the State.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
