KWASAA Open to Partnerships to Grow Kwara Economy – DG
The Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA) has reiterated its commitment to partnering with progressive individuals and corporate organisations to drive the state’s economic growth.
The Director-General (DG) of KWASAA, Mr. Olorunshola Omotayo, disclosed this during a meeting with Lagos-based E-motion Advertising Limited in his office. He described Kwara as an emerging economic hub, highlighting strategies to enhance outdoor advertising and other sectors.
Omotayo stressed the importance of public recognition for outdoor advertising’s role in boosting the state’s economy. He reaffirmed the agency’s dedication to supporting the government’s beautification and urban renewal initiatives.
Earlier, the visiting team leader, Mrs. Sopluie Ejegi, stated that their visit aimed to identify investment opportunities in outdoor advertising.
Accompanied by representatives from Kwara Harmony Holdings and the Kwara State Investment Promotion Agency (KwaraIPA), the DG led the team on a tour of potential advertising sites across Ilorin metropolis. Key locations included Eyenkorin Roundabout, Gerin Alimi Underpass, General Hospital Ilorin, Queen School Frontage, Solar Farm (New Yidi Road), Tanke, Fate, GSS/Agric Roundabout, Old Jebba Road, Kwarapoly, and UITH Gates.
At Oja-Oba/Emir’s Palace-Surulere and Oja-Tuntun areas, the team proposed exploring Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) advertising opportunities. They pledged to submit a detailed report promptly.
