Kwara State Government working to move Kwara up- Towoju

The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has re-echoed the government's readiness to support all Agencies and Departments of the state government in ensuring a smooth running of its administration.

Towoju added that the Governor of the state, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is working to move Kwara to greater heights and he gave the assurance that the government will not rest until all the crooked areas are made straight.

He made this known on a familiarization visit to the Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA), together with his management team, on Wednesday.

The commissioner urged the staff of the Agency to put in their best at work and shun all acts of indiscipline and slothfulness. He assured that all the challenges tabled by the Agency will be accurately relayed to the governor.

Towoju encouraged them to always think "Kwara First", while adding that the workers' welfare is of paramount importance to the Governor

Earlier in his remarks, the Director-General of the Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA), Olorunshola Omotayo, hailed the commissioner and likened his appointment to putting a "round peg in a round hole."

He tabled the Agency's challenges which included office space, staff training, vehicles and poster-removing machine topping the chart before the commissioner.

Olorunshola stressed that if the issues are well-addressed, the revenue generation that the Agency will yield for the government will be enormous.
