FUEL SCARCITY: KWSG VOWS TO KEEP CLOSE TAB ON DEALERS

The Kwara State Government has vowed not to relent in its effort to monitor distribution and sale of petroleum products in the state to ameliorate the stress motorists are going through to buy fuel.

The state Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Hajia Arinola Lawal, who heads the monitoring team,  said the government was interested in the comfort of the people of the state; hence, the necessity to keep close tab on the dealers.

 Hajia Arinola, who went out for the second day monitoring exercise, disclosed that the ministry has been availed the manifest of fuel supply and any dealer who hoards fuel would be sanctioned.
The Commissioner added that the scarcity has subjected the people to untold hardship as commuters struggle to get vehicles to their destinations even with hike in transport fare.

Among the areas visited are AP Fuelling station along Murtala Muhammed way, Bovas Fuelling station along Fate road and MD Ayoka along old Jebba road, where dealers were compelled to sell fuel to the motorists with full cooperation of all the Managers of the filling stations. 
Ministry officials in Commissioners monitoring team include; Director of Trade and Product Monitoring, Mr Adebisi Taiwo, Unit Head, Mrs Kemi Abdulrahman, Product Desk Officer, Abdulrasaq Jimoh.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
